Very soon, young people will have the chance to elect a radical, transformative Government that will change their lives for the better - and give them hope about the future. However, there are still thousands of young people that still haven't registered to vote. In seats like Walsall North, these first-time voters could be the difference between winning and losing. Join us at Walsall College as we speak to the students and help them register to vote for the first time!

Whoberley Branch Labour Party (BLP)'s October meeting! Honestly we presumed this one might not happen due to an election but here we are. Our main political discussion on this occasion will be about internal party structures woo! Specifically we'll be describing, discussing and debating "Delegate" structures versus "All Members" structures and what all that means and the practical knock-on effects for the local party. A very quick primer: - A delegate structure is what our CLP currently has: only delegates to the CLP (from Branches, trade unions etc.) are able to vote at CLP meetings and only those delegates can volunteer for CLP officer roles or the Executive Committee etc. - An all members structure is what our BLP currently has: all members can attend and vote at meetings; all members can apply for officer roles etc. See you there!
