Stevenage Womens Forum Strawberry Tea

  • 8 June 2019 10:00 - 12:00
  • Stevenage SG1 1HN, UK

Every month the Womens Forum hold coffee mornings where women are invited to discuss and listen to the views of women regarding local and national issues and to ensure that they are reflected in Labours policy making. Womens Forum stalls and other activities throughout the year are organised to raise awareness of government policies and the affect they have on the family and particularly women. The Womens Forum and stalls are to encourage discussion and participation in the political arena. Clearly we all have busy lives and commitment can be difficult, that is why women are encouraged to join these activities when they can. Come along and join the conversation at the Womens Forum in a safe and friendly environment. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available. Speakers from political as well as various womens groups/organisations are often invited to share experiences. Come and talk with other women who want a Labour Government in power, who will bring in the policies that are for the many and not the few. Only Labour will deliver the action needed to deal with gender inequality and improve the lives of women. We need to campaign for : Access to Justice, Health and Well-being, Economic Equality, Leadership and Representation and Stronger protections. With your voice, your vote and your support, we can work towards achieving these goals. Contact Michelle at michellegardner@live.co.uk for details and any questions Womens Forum meetings are held on a Saturday at the Stevenage Borough Council, Ingleheim Lounge, Daneshill House, Stevenage, SG1 1LZ from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
