Delivery Day!

  • 14 September 2019 10:00 - 16:00
  • Blackhorse Lane, Croydon CR0 6RT, UK

**Save the date – Saturday 14th September 2019** I am writing to you to ask you to save this date. As you know, I produce a 6 month report for every household in Croydon Central. This is a mammoth operation, with members delivering 45,000 leaflets across Croydon Central! We receive donations from unions and others to produce the leaflet, and it is an absolutely crucial way to stay in touch with everyone – particularly those who don’t use the internet or follow me on social media. The next big delivery day will be Saturday 13th September, from 10am. Members across the constituency will have delivery rounds ready to go in their homes – so people can pick them up locally, or we can drop them round to your house. I will be in touch closer to the time, if you can give just a couple of hours that would be great!

  • 20 July 2019 13:00 - 18:00

Join us for the latest instalment of our new group, the Croydon Labour Activist Network. Our launch event was a huge success with over 50 activists meeting, learning and creating a network that which will change the face of Croydon politics. In our second event we will be further honing our campaigning skills with digital IT training & a special session in the highly successful 'Persuasive Conversations' training created during Bernie Sanders first campaign to be president of the US. We'll then be using our newly used skills in a street stall and leafletting effort on the nearby Lower Addiscombe Road, speaking to residents about the recent hike in the BBC Licence fee for older people. And to wrap up the afternoon we will be heading down on the tram to Box Park in the town centre to network and have some fun over your food box of choice. Some light refreshment in the form of tea and coffee will be provided during the training session and there is no cost associated with taking part in the session. All of the venues and activities and disability accessible, but if you have any special requirements please do get in touch at jack.buck@croydonlabour.org.uk
