Our Disability Listening Project has been set up to listen to disabled people in South-East Cornwall, and discover what are the issues that matter to you, so that together we can influence policy and create positive change. Whether you have concerns with transport, housing or social security, with accessing jobs and services, or anything else - if you'd like to share your concerns, we'd like to hear from you. This evidence-gathering session is open to all disabled people and their family carers; there will be tea/coffee and cake from 7pm and it begins at 7.30pm. The venue is fully wheelchair-accessible and if you have particular needs that mean you need support to attend, such as transport, let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best to meet them.
Whether you’ve joined the party ready and raring to go or you’re still trying to figure it all out, make sure to come along and join other new members just like you in our online interactive session: I’m a new member, what next? We’ll be chatting about all the different ways you can get involved and the opportunities open to you as a member so you can really start to make the most of your membership.
Whether you’re a seasoned role holder or just starting out in your local party, join our online interactive session to support you in your role and have a catch up now that elections are out of the way. The session offers training in member recruitment and retention, mobilising your members, and keeping things legal. We’ll also explain the tools and resources at your disposal, and chat about member engagement methods you’ve found to be effective in your local Party.
