From Coal to Carbon Neutral: An overview of UK energy policy from the 1984 miners' strike to net zero by 2030 Growing up in the South Yorkshire coalfields community, radicalised and politicised by the 1984 strike, Chris Kelsey will give an overview of energy policy in the UK from the 80s to the journey to carbon neutral net zero by 2030.
